Thank you to all the
volunteers who covered the Oviedo events over
the past few weeks...from St Luke's, Bark
and Brew, Sunshine Dance, and the famous
Marshmallow Drop, you have helped create amazing
photographs to document our city's history.
I recently posted a closeup picture
of a sweet dog from Bark & Brew on our
Facebook page for National Puppy Day and
encouraged people to post their pics. To
my most pleasant surprise, the owner of the
sweet dog replied in the comments section with a
thank you. Her name is Polly. It was a day
full of excessive squatting, blurred shots, and
making funny squeaky noises to grab attention.
Her note truly made my day. I was also thrilled
to put a name to this animated fur baby.
With every snap, we capture moments
that complete strangers cherish forever. We
have a special opportunity to make a difference
through our passion for photography.
Thank you again for volunteering and
being part of our photo club.

Bring
5-7 photos from recent events or
any other pictures you would like to
share. Be
sure to use a labeled folder with the date on a
thumb drive and rename the photo files
with
your initials and a
number (ex: OP-1, OP-2, etc.) for the
photos you want to share. This will make it
easier for our projectionist.
If
you have photos that you would like help with,
bring them with you! If there is
time, our club members can give you
pointers on what to do.
Everyone is welcome to
attend. Please come and share your ideas
with
us.
